According to Al-Chourouk newspaper (August 4, 2005), senior sources reported that the International Internet Summer Festival, which will be organized in Marsa Kantawi through August 25-28, will witness a number of new mobile phone and Internet service tests. Mr. Mouaz Souabni, President of the Tunisian Association of Internet and Multimedia, said that the event represents a good opportunity to show Tunisia's achievements in the communication technology before hosting the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS). The festival consists of a number of workshops and forums about technology experiments.
